Single Head Emergency Drench Hose

Our wall mounted single head drench hose is the perfect addition to standard eyewash and safety shower facilities. The drench hose provides a moveable source of emergency water which can be directed to the area most affected, this is ideal where the injured person may not be able to stand at a traditional eye wash unit, or has collapsed.

The emergency drench hoses can be used in factories, chemical plants, foundries, workshops, and any workplace that requires emergency eye wash facilities. The yellow bracket, head and hose make them easily visible and the units are simple to operate.

The model S0402 drench hose is wall mounted on a yellow galvanised steel bracket, with ABS yellow plastic eye/face wash spray head with flip up dust cover, stay-open valve with squeeze lever and a 2438 mm reinforced yellow PVC hose.

ANSI Z358.1 – 2014 states that drench hoses can be used as supplements, but do not replace other types of emergency equipment.

The ANSI (or American National Standards Institute) is a nonprofit organisation that administers standards for products, processes and systems in the United States and around the world.

With regards to safety eye washing, the ANSI sets standards for water temperature and flow rate, as well as location and maintenance requirements. Our safety wall mounted eye washing pods conform to ANSI Z358.1-2009.
